1995 opening day of shotgun season. I was hunting with my dad and older brother. The rut was in full gear. I didn't see much that morning so around 9;30 I decided to go get a bite to eat. As I was setting there eating I new I neede to get back to the woods early. I did not know where I was going to sit. My dad had killed out that morning. So he said he would sit with me. After about two hours had pasted, we did not see anything so I was ready to go. Dad told me that we needed to hunt one more hour. In that hour I had the chance to take my first wall hanger. This buck ran in front of us about 10 yards. I shot him with my moseburg 500. All I can say is that one more hour in the woods payed off big.
